Local Tennis Leagues The UK home of local park tennis since 2005

Prospect Park is Reading's biggest civic green space and home to a wide range of activities from football to steam train rides (in the summer).

It also has three floodlit, carpet tennis courts and now one of Britain's latest Local Tennis Leagues!

Opening Times
The tennis courts are open every day between April and September. From September 23, 2011, they are open at weekends only 
Mon-Fri, 8am-10pm
Sat, 7am-4.30pm
Sun, 9am-6.30pm 

Tennis bookings
To book a court,  phone 0118 937 3848. Bookings can be taken a week or more in advance so league players should be able to plan their playing diaries.

Courts cost: 
PEAK (Mon – Fri 4.00 – 9.30 & Weekends), £4.10 per person, per hour
OFF PEAK (Mon - Fri 9.00 – 4.00), £3.20 per person, per hour

SPECIAL OFFER FOR LEAGUE PLAYERS: Players of a league match playing off-peak may continue on court after the first hour and play until their match is finished at NO EXTRA COST.  Please inform the booking team that you are playing a league match.

Christchurch Meadows
The three courts at Christchuch have recently been refurbished. They can be used as an alternative venue for matches in the Prospect Park Tennis League.

Outside the summer months the courts are free to use. Otherwise pay when you see the attendant (£4/3.20 conc). Player tip - curretly the courts are free to use in the evenings. Courts cannot be booked and there are no floodlights.
