 Highbury Fields: how to book courts
There are 11 outdoor courts at Highbury Fields, seven of which are floodlit. Courts must be booked online here. They may also be booked at the tennis hut, in person or on the phone: 020 7226 2334. Open between ten to and ten past the hour, though start times vary. Courts can be booked up to a day or two advance or a week if you have an Izz Card (but check with the hut).
If you are finding it hard to book a court our league-match-only booking service may be able to help. See here for details. Courts get very booked up on weekdays after 7pm, and the best way to get one is to get an Izz Card from Islington Council. You can buy them from (among other places) Highbury Pool, off Highbury Crescent, at the tube end of the Fields, and they are available even if you don't live in Islington.

Call memberships 020 7690 0413 There is less pressure on courts at the weekend, and during the day (when in the winter courts are FREE), there is no need to book at all. If you wish to play elsewhere, that's fine but both players must agree to the venue. If you can't play a match please remember to cancel your court with the hut. Court costs (As of Feb 2011)

Six indoor courts and two outdoor courts. Although the centre gets very busy, Market Road is a useful playing option, especially when the weather gets bad. Izz Card Members can book 7 days in advance and non members can book five days in advance.
A one hour indoor court booking for adults costs £24 (£20 members). Outdoors, a one hour booking for adults costs £10 or £8.50 for members. Members and non-members can book online here  Clissold Park and neighbouring courts
A popular and well-run tennis centre, the courts here and elsewhere in the borough of Hackney are managed by the Hackney City Tennis Clubs. There are eight courts at Clissold Park. See the website for information about the other Hackney courts
Tennis courts in Clissold Park, London Fields, Millfields Park, Spring Hill, Hackney Downs (four courts, newly resurfaced) and Aske Park can be booked in person at the Tennis Office in Clissold Park, or over the phone, using a debit/credit card. Tel: 020 7254 4235.

Seven recently renewed outdoor courts (plus two mini courts) - and free to use, though you will need to wait your turn and you can't book. This is also a venue for our popular and growing Haringey Tennis League.

Six tarmac tennis courts. Bookings are taken up to 7 days in advance by phone or in person at the attendant's hut located by the tennis courts. Payment is required within 24 hours to confirm booking. The park attendant will be at the hut from 10 minutes to until 10 minutes past each hour to take bookings.
